  I know that my cockateil is a male he has laid 3 eggs and has become a freak he chases of the female and takes her, he is laying on the eggs, i have raised enough birds to know he is a male , with the brightly colored face ,  I am confused, any answers???????

Only female birds lay eggs, it is the same for human animals -- only females can have babies, it's the same for all animals, females have the babies and males fertilize the eggs in females.
